A life-time learner

Hello, my name is Norshahila binti Mohd Shaini. I am currently a first-year student, pursuing degree in Bachelor of Education (Hons.) Teaching English as Second Language (TESL) and the campus is located at UiTM Puncak Alam, Selangor. Formerly, I did my foundation in UiTM (Dengkil Campus) for less than one year time (it was about 10 months in the campus). Apart from being a full-time degree student now, I actively involved in Malay Literature (Pantun) and also a Scout Rover under The Scout Association of Malaysia for almost three years already. These kind of activities have kept me busy as I sometimes have to schedule everything weekly/daily (satisfaction of doing it is what I look for). Furthermore, for me, learning something that is outside of my field gives me more exposure to the world and it will be beneficial for me to think of how it relates to my programme. The relations trigger me to treasure more, both inside and outside of my field.

Hints for Teachnology

You must be wondering why I named it Teachnology. One prime purpose for creating this is to compile technologies that can be used as teaching tools. There are so much technologies must be explored by educators/teachers/lecturers or whatever you called yourself as long as your career related to teaching and educating people. However, the technologies are not only for educational purposes but also to ease our daily lives. I'll introduce them one by one in my entries. In addition, I prepare the site for one of my subject in Part 2; Innovative Technology for Teaching and Learning (EDU456). Hence why, I combined teach + nology (technology) which equals to Teachnology! (ps: in English Linguistics, we called this kind of word formation as blending). Happy reading!
